Our location – MAP Fuerteventura

Landscapes

Fuerteventura is a fantastic opportunity for all nature lovers. The island is a true desert and it’s like nowhere else; heavenly, solitary, endless white-sand beaches, the never-ending sun and the turquoise blue of the sea. The island is a special place designed for enjoyment with unique flora in the desert to the volcanic mountains.

Climate

We enjoy an exceptional climate throughout the year. The winters are warm with minimum temperatures of 18ºC and the summers are balmy with 30ºC. All this lets us enjoy 365 days a year of sunshine. The temperature of the sea varies between 17ºC in winter and 25ºC in summer.

The surf

Fuerteventura is known as the Hawaii of the Atlantic. The surf, for all abilities, is from January to December on stunning beaches; only 4 hours flying distance from the European Capitals !

Our surf school & surf camp is located in the North of the Island, in Corralejo. This location allows us to move quickly from the East Coast, West Coast or North Coast following the evolution of the swell. This guarantees surf all year round ! (beach break and reef breaks).

In summer, we surf mainly the waves on the east coast, created by the trade wind. There is potential to exploit during those warmer months, on beach breaks and reef breaks.

In winter, the west and north swells are more constant; advanced surfers will enjoy cleaner waves as the wind blows less.
